This months DriveCrate box has arrived once again, themed as the 'Hungary' box! A very exciting race that's not to be missed. This is the 4th box I've now received from them and I can confirm that they've definitely worth the monthly subscription price as all contain some official sort of licensed merchandise from the teams. So let's dive right in to see what's in store this time?
1. George Russell Mug
The main item in this months box included a 'GR63' blue and white mug. Two Mercedes themed items in a row after my official Mercedes Cap from last months box! For me personally, I have so many mugs in my house that I'm not quite sure what I'll do with it at the moment. Although I do know quite a few Mercedes fans that I could gift it to, this is official licensed Formula One merch by the way!
2. Fernando Alonso Poster
As much as I haven't joined the 'Aston Martin hype train' this year, I'll always appreciate a nice poster. I love the design and it absolutely represents the dominance of Fernando this year, also making a good change to the metal prints I've been received the last two months. My collection along my wall is a slowly getting bigger!
3. Hungary Themed Socks
This has got to be my favourite item from this box! I've loved my socks from my previous box but these ones have so much colour added to them with such a great design and so comfy! Definitely something that I'll be wearing for the race on Sunday and possibly many other race days for that matter!
4. Park Fermé Enamel Pin
Again! More pins that I absolutely love! Even though I haven't found a permenant place for my previous podium pin I've received in these boxes, I love the designs and details of each of them. Plus the quality of them are also really great with a strong pin on the back to ensure that I wouldn't lose it from it falling off anywhere! I wonder whether I design an F1 jacket to put it on, or would it possibly look good on a leather bag?
5. Legends Coaster Set
I must admit that even though I feel like I have loads of coasters around my house, I really need to make a special place to have these. Particularly with Michael Schumacher's quote of "Once something is a passion, the motivation is there" as this is always something I've tried to follow in life and may be part of the reason why I'm trying so hard with this website. But conclusively, these will give me the motivation that the famous Ferrari driver speaks of at my desk.
6. Coconut Cream Chocolate
Every piece of themed food you get in a DriveCrate box never fails to amaze me, especially this coconut cream chocolate. Even though it may look like just a plain bar of chocolate, it tastes great for someone who is a particularly picky eater when it comes to treats like these! Of course I wouldn't recognise the brand but you never know, I might find it if I'm travelling around the streets of Budapest one day!
If anyone else receives DriveCrate boxes, what did you think of this months box? Has this encouraged anyone to subscribe to it? I cannot recommend these enough as it's where I end up getting most of my Formula One trinkets from and each month, I can't wait for when they arrive at my door!
