The Gamble Of The Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023

There's no doubt that there was an eruption of excitement when it came to announcing that Formula One would race around the Las Vegas strip for the 2023 season. It was most likely one of the most anticipated moments in the F1 history for a few years: it would produce a huge coverage, amazing sites as the cars drove around and bring in a lot of revenue for the sport. The closer the date came, it seemed that more and more problems kept cropping up. People began to wonder whether the race should go ahead at all however, the FIA bet all their chips on guaranteeing a spectacle of a weekend.

Let's Get More Tyre Wars Back Into Track Racing!

Recent sources have confirmed that Pirelli will be extending their ownership of Formula One tyres until 2027, this is great news! But if you look further into this partnership, it also could be the last time they renew this contract. Could this make room for Bridgestone or Goodyear, who both have a history in the 73 year sport? Or should we be implementing Bridgestone AND Goodyear, or Bridgestone AND Goodyear AND Pirelli? Tyre wars certainly aren't a new concept in Formula One or any other motorsport categories, would it be a good time to bring it back at a time when these championships are seemingly becoming less competitive? Would it cause more issues?

The Ingenius Idea Of Adding Wings To A Flightless Car

If I were to ask you to look at a Formula One car and tell me one of the first notable features about it, some would say the halo, or the big tyres or something really obvious like the front and rear wings. A feature of the car that is timeless but essential to a teams performance with constant upgrades. All thanks to a fancy spoiler from a 1967 Dodge Charger that caught the attention of one man and made its way to the famous sport only a year later.

How Susie Wolff Might Be The Best Thing That’s Ever Happened To Women In Motorsport

After years of underfunding for the W Series making it less interesting to the average motorsport viewer, the F1 Academy was an excellent addition to the Formula series' as it was linked to a more recognisable name and fully supported by an incredible group of people. Most notably including Susie Wolff, wife of Toto Wolff who is the current team principal for Formula One's Mercedes AMG Petronas team.

5 Drivers Who Could Join Audi In 2026

Audi have announced that they will be rebranding Alfa Romeo in 2026 by ditching the Ferrari engine and switching to their own engines, but will they be switching their current drivers or will they be looking to new face (or old faced) drivers? With the absolute uncertainty of how to grid could appear in 3 years time, is there a chance that anything could be possible?

A Gem In The Middle Of British Countryside: The Haynes Motor Museum

One thing for certain when it comes to the UK is that our public transport isn't the best in the world. If you live in England or ever visited then you will understand the frustration when it comes to holding out hope that getting somewhere will be easy. And yes, I have a driving license and I could've made this journey by car but ultimately found that it would've been quicker to hop on a train, then bus and finally just a short walk. As it turns out I stand corrected but at least when you're driving, you have the security of knowing that you can get from A to B with no cancellations...

Silverstone's 'Selfie' Day Of Champions

Safe to say that the Day of Champions tickets were definitely a last-minute buy on my side. There was no way that I'd be able to take time out to attend the entire Monster Energy MotoGP British Grand Prix weekend with around a month's notice of actually clicking 'Pay Now' on the Silverstone website, even if I had been planning to attend prior to the time. The most annoying thing about this was that I missed out on Pit Lane tickets!

More Than I Bargained For (In A Good Way)

You would not believe how lucky I was to get Wednesday the 3rd of July off work with only a weeks notice after I heard that the Williams Fan Zone would be open and even better in attendance with current F1 drivers, Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant, F2 driver Zak O'Sullivan and Williams Ambassador and former world champion, Jenson Button aka. my favourite retired driver. I don't think any amount of thanks could be given to my boss.

Visiting A Living Piece Of History

28th May 2024: As a 21st birthday present for my sister, she was given the chance to have a photoshoot with the Jordan Honda EJ12 from the 2002 season of Formula One. For an added bit of context, Formula One has always been a staple in my house. Something that we always sit to watch, week in week out; after all my parents first met each other by talking about F1 on a holiday together. It almost seemed appropriate that they named their first child, aka. my older sister, Jordan. More so named after the team and not the owner.

A Special Trip Out To The F1 Arcade

June 18th 2023, aka Fathers Day in the UK. Me and my sister both wanted to do something special for my dad this year. After the opening of the F1 Arcade in London, we thought this would be the best present on offer. My sister had previously been with her boyfriend but it was mine and my dads first time, so I thought it would be great to write an article about my experience to hopefully give others part of an insight to an afternoon in the F1 Arcade in St. Paul’s, London.

New Years Resolutions Can Be Difficult To Keep

For as long as I can remember, my Sunday memories were filled with my parents sitting on our old brown sofa watching Formula One. From a young age, I recognised names such as Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel. Heck, one of the first conversations my parents had while they were on a group holiday in Italy was about Formula One and my childhood was filled with watching repeats of Tooned, created by the McLaren team themselves.
